It took us almost 20 years to realise what our dogs were missing.
Back in 2007, we raised Cooper and Bruno. We loved them the way every dog parent does — with good food, long walks, treats and lots of love. But looking back, we didn't know what we didn't know.
Enrichment wasn't really part of the conversation. We didn't know that dogs needed more than just exercise and affection. They needed opportunities to sniff, chew, lick, forage, explore and think.
Years later, while dog-sitting in the Netherlands, we discovered a different way of caring for dogs. Dogs weren't just being walked and fed — they were given ways to engage their instincts and keep their minds busy.
It wasn't an extra. It was part of everyday life with dogs.
When we came home to Noor, we started looking for the same things in India.
And realised the gap was still there.
So this time, we decided to do something about it.
Two & A Half Tails is our way of bringing a more thoughtful approach to life with dogs in India — with single-ingredient treats, enrichment toys, slow-feeders and licking mats, carefully chosen around what dogs naturally need to do.
Because living in a home doesn't make a dog any less of a dog.
They still need to sniff. Chew. Lick. Forage. Explore. Think. Play.
We couldn't go back and give Cooper and Bruno what we know now.
But we can give it to Noor.
And to every dog after her.
Why Two & A Half Tails?
The name comes from the three dogs who brought us here: Cooper, Bruno and Noor.
Two full tails.
One half tail.
And one very big reason to start.
Two & A Half Tails.
